While I was away last week I picked up a loaf of homemade almond bread with a hint of vanilla. Usually I would toast it and put nut butter on it. This time, I decided to step outside the “bread” box and create this tasty, satisfying spread…it is sinfully good!
4-5 Tbsp Low Fat Cream Cheese or Tofutti (Non Dairy Spread), room temperature
1 Tbsp Honey or Agave
1 Tsp of each: raisins, sunflower seeds, shredded coconut, shredded pecans
Mix it all together and enjoy! Makes enough for 2-3 slices depending on how much you like. Feel free to mix it up and add your own things: cranberries, pumpkin seeds, or even cacao nibs.
You can double the recipe and store in fridge for up to 5 days.
